THAPOVAN PUBLIC SCHOOL AND JUNIOR COLLEGE

MANAKALA, ADOOR

ANNUAL REPORT 2025-26

A paradigm shift in the field of all India educational system is taking our education structure to a new height.  It emphasises on acquiring life skills rather than present day class room practices which has been found to be out dated and insignificant in practical life. The current class room practice and the examination systems have been modified to include experiential learning. The new school structure of (5+3+3+4) from Pre-primary to X11 is based on equitable and inclusive education to assure that no child is denied access to a quality education due to their socio-cultural background.

The NEP 2023 provides for large-scale reforms in higher education, aiming to bring in more flexibility, shifting the focus from exam-centric to holistic and experiential, clear-cut provision of entry and exit options, key synchronization of vocational subjects, and probability of academic credits to enable more mobility. We hope that CBSE educational system, which prevails not only in India but in other 27 countries abroad, retains its significance as the true measuring scale of the students’ aptitude. The present day discussions against awarding liberal marking system in the state boards should bear fruit to facilitate a fair opportunity to all.

With immense pleasure, let me share with you all a few activities we have conducted during the academic year of 2025-26. The school reopened on Monday, 2nd June 2025.
