Fr. Dr. Rege Mathew completed his BD (Bachelor of Divinity) Degree from Kottayam Orthodox Theological Seminary in 1983 after which he was ordained as a Priest by H.H. Baselious Marthoma Mathew II. He took his Master degree in History and International Relation from VSSD College, Kanpur University in 1985. He secured his B. Ed. and M. Ed. degrees with distinction from Sohanlal DAV College of Education Ambala Cantt, Kurukshetra University. He was the Manager and Principal of Kanpur St. Mary's School affiliated to CBSE from 1985-1989. During this time he had been the Priest of St. Mary's Church as well. He also served as the Principal of Holy Angel's School, Rajpura, Punjab and the Priest of St. Thomas Church from 1990-93. He was the Priest of St. Paul's Church Gwalior from 1993-95. And also served as the Principal and manger of St. Paul'sSchool. From 1995-97 he was appointed as the secretary to H. H. Baselious Marthoma Mathew II with additional charge of the establishment of the proposed Baselios Public School, Devalokam, Kottayam. During 1997-2002 he worked as the Professor at Holy Trinity College, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. He was offered an International student's scholarship by the Princeton University, NJ, USA to pursue his Maste's degree in Theology during 2002-2006. During 2007-2013 he worked as a Certified Teacher in Garland ISD, USA. In 2013, he was awarded Ph.D. in Practical Theology by the Esoteric Theological Seminary (a deemed University), Florida, USA. In 2014, he took over the charge as Principal of Thapovan Public School, Manakala, Adoor. The School has grown in leaps and bounds in all spheres within no time. It was simply amazing to watch the school becoming the center of attraction of the public.
